Slept in with boyfriend a bit today after a very fun (and exhausting) weekend! I drove out to the boat Friday night and met him when he was done with work, we drove into Cleveland on Saturday to watch college football and to rendezvous for my best friend's impromptu birthday celebration (which brought out a ton of awesome people!), and Sunday we watched the NFL kickoff and drove back to my apartment. Very busy but so worth it!
Was very glad I worked ahead on my journal entries for human growth, which meant no homework for me this weekend! However, today I started work study in the nursing department and had to rehearse up at main campus after class. I decided that it will take at least a year to do all the filing the department needs me to do at school! I also got a call from the nursing home and will head in to fill out all my employment paperwork next Monday morning. So everything is progressing in a smooth and orderly fashion with that. Fantastic.
I also got tapped to guest lecture for the dance senior seminar course this Thursday morning, which I'm very excited about, although I don't know how excited the seniors are! I want them to have up-to-date information about the job market into which they're heading. All of them are talented enough to find work in the field in one capacity or another and they need to know the anxiety they will feel is totally normal. I have to get some information ready to present to them.
That's about all that's going on. I'm thinking I will head over to campus early tomorrow to spend some quality time with the human skull, since we are going to be quizzed on it early morning Friday. Probably a good idea to study up.
